Assistance to PMR (Persons with Reduced Mobility)
La NLG – Navigazione Libera del Golfo, in ottemperanza alle disposizioni normative vigenti, è in grado di offrire per tutta la durata del viaggio assistenza alle PMR, Persone a Mobilità Ridotta.
All airport ticket offices are able to provide, at the time of booking and/or issuing the ticket, all the essential information on the on-board services available on each unit, providing the type and name of the unit on a daily basis for each departure.
The units of the fleet are able to accommodate PMRs on board, including those who walk in wheelchairs, provided that it is possible for them to transfer/be transferred to the seats supplied with the units. In fact, it is not possible to travel on wheelchairs due to regulatory issues. Furthermore, for the entire duration of the journey, from embarkation to disembarkation, qualified and trained personnel, recognizable by the wording “CREW” on the company uniform, will offer continuous assistance and information to PRMs.
In the “our fleet” section you can find detailed information for each unit on the number of places available for PRMs and on the presence of a hygiene room designed to accommodate disabled people in wheelchairs.
Due to daily variations in service needs, for the Gulf of Naples and Salerno lines it is not possible to establish in advance which unit will be used at a given time and therefore the availability of a bathroom accessible to disabled people who walk in wheelchairs is not always guaranteed.
This information can only be requested at the port ticket offices when purchasing the sea passage ticket or collecting the boarding passes for tickets purchased online.
